The architect of the Joan of Arc had one main challenege in designing the ceiling of the worship center. Finding a ceiling finish that would be harmonious with the monolithic structure of the sanctuary that could be colore to specification. The architect also wanted a ceiling finish that would decrease reverberation in the chapel to aid in the acoustics of the building during mass services. The architect contacted the acoustical engineer to collaborate on solving this problem. After searching and reviewing many different products the acoustical engineer recommended SonaSpray "fc" as the solution. SonaSpray "fc" met all the requirements of the project. Two special colors of Dark Blue and Off White SonaSpray "fc" were custom manufactured for the project. Dark Blue SonaSpray "Fc" was sprayed down the center of the chapen, and the off white SonaSpray "Fc" was applied on the ceiling surrounding the Dark Blue. SonaSpray's uniformed texture across the ceiling helped maintain the serenity and design of the sanctuary. Because of SonaSpray's harmonious texture it decreased reverberation, which will enhance the worship service of the congregation. |
