K-13UL ER5499-01 Factory Mutual

Warehouse Bar & Grille

Warehouse Bar & Grille
Boston, Massachusetts
K-13 – Gray
1″ Thickness
Project Profile

K-13 is a Thermal and Acoustical cellulose insulation typically used as an exposed ceiling finish to control the acoustics of a space while achieving an exceptionally high R-value. K-13 has a Natural Texture. K-13 is available in seven standard colors and can be produced in custom colors.

K-13 is spray-applied through approved machines that control the fiber/binder ratio. K-13 will conform to any ceiling configuration including barrel-vaults, concrete “T” corrugated decks, and other complex surfaces. Applications up to 5” thick do not require mechanical support and adhere to any properly prepared substrate. For an even higher R-value, we recommend the K-13 High-R System, a mechanically supported system for R-values exceeding R-19.
