K-13 Helped to Solve Acoustic Challenges in FinTech Company’s New Office

Fintech Company recently debuted their new office in Tustin, CA. Designed by RAPT Studios, the cheerful open- concept design features bright colors, natural lighting, and original artwork that reflect the brand’s fresh visual identity. The expansive, two-level, 70,000 square foot space is comprised of individual workstations grouped into “teams” and a range of different sized meeting areas that can accommodate small, medium and large group gatherings.

The primary surface materials within the space consist of concrete, glass, and exposed metals. Since hard surfaces and materials reflect sound, acoustical absorption was needed to ensure occupant comfort and overall functionality. To address the need for acoustics without compromising the open-plan design, K-13 in White was spray-applied to the ceilings throughout the space. The application of K-13 serves as an exposed interior finish that provides exceptional acoustic performance. In addition to acoustics, K-13 in White increases natural daylighting and is GREENGUARD Gold Certified-contributing towards a healthier indoor environment.

ICC’s spray applied thermal and acoustical materials are readily available for shipment to our network of licensed installers. Please contact us for details on how we can help your project be the best it can be!
