K-13 Reduces Echo and Reverberation in the Buffalo Grille Restaurant

Located in Houston’s lively West University neighborhood, Buffalo Grille is a cozy eatery serving up generous portions of comfort food from breakfast and beyond. In order to ensure the space would provide a comfortable environment for guests, acoustical consideration was key to the design.

To address the need for acoustics, without compromising ceiling height, K-13 in black was spray-applied to the exposed metal decking throughout the dining area. The application of K-13 serves as an exposed interior finish that controls echo, reverberation, and excessive noise, which would otherwise be prevalent in a space of this type. In addition to acoustic performance, K-13 in Black provides architectural interest and compliments the Texas-themed Decor.
